
Jalapeño Cheese Cornbread
The easy way!!!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups cornbread mix
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 green onions chopped
- ½ cup creamed corn
- ¼ cup chopped jalapeño peppers
- ¾ cup grated cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack or both
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp oil
- bacon, pimento, garlic you decide which, and how much
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Pour into buttered baking dish or cast iron skillet.
- Bake at 425 °F about 25 minutes or until done.
