Banana Pudding with Salted Caramel

Ingredients
  

  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk can
  • 1 ½ cup cold water
  • 1 3.4 oz box Vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 12 oz box nilla wafers
  • 4 cups bananas cut into slices
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce

Instructions
 

  • In the bowl of your mixer beat sweetened condensed milk & water for 1-2 minutes or until frothy
  • Add in the pudding mix and beat for another 2 minutes
  • Transfer to a smaller bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best
  • In a large bowl, or the bowl for your mixer using the whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, about 4-5 minutes
  • Using a spatula gently fold in the whip cream to the pudding, mixing until just combined
  • In a large trifle bowl or individual serving cups layer the pudding, wafers & banana repeating as necessary
  • Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving
  • Right before serving top with additional wafers and some salted caramel sauce, you can make your own or use store bought, but the caramel sauce is a perfect addition to this classic dessert
