Bourbon and Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup bourbon
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp mild (light) molasses
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried crushed red pepper
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Bring all ingredients to boil in saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat; simmer until sauce is reduced to 2 cups, stirring often, about 10 minutes.
  • Cover; chill.
  • Use at room temperature.

DO AHEAD:
Can be made 2 weeks ahead.
